Little Paws Inn feels like a second home for pets, offering over 6,000 square feet of play space, including two large outdoor yards. Even on rainy days, their cosy indoor lodging keeps pets comfortable.
The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, with climate control to ensure comfort. I love that they offer grooming services while you’re away, starting with a full body check and head-to-tail massage before baths and nail trims.
Their training programs also stand out, focusing on strengthening the bond between you and your dog. You can even create a personalised 10-hour program, with options to train at the facility or at home.
Overall, I trust Little Paws Inn to care for my dog like their own. The only downside is they don’t accommodate pets on Sundays, which is usually when I’m most in need of their services!

I love that every kitty has free access to a sprawling play area, and pet owners can bring their own bedding. I always take my cat’s favorite blanket, a little slice of home, especially during the festive season when she might miss me more!
Another delightful perk is that they wash the bedding after your cat checks out!
Safety is a top priority, with security cameras and heat, smoke, and water sensors in place. The staff sends charming photo updates during your cat’s stay, which warms my heart and reassures me while I’m away.
While their services are top-tier, I’m not a fan of the mandatory assessment fee for bookings. All cats must be spayed or neutered, so keep that in mind!

My brother swears by Dog House Day Care, and after taking his dog there once for boarding, I instantly saw why he’s such a loyal customer.
The 12,000-square-foot dog hotel offers indoor and outdoor access, featuring well-maintained play areas, swimming pools, and training obstacle courses.
Boarding rates start at $44 a night for single dogs and $78 for two dogs. If you book a stay for over ten days, rates go down 10%!
My brother also mentioned that he particularly loved that the caretakers are also well-versed in administering medications for elderly dogs. They also accept pick-ups and drop-offs on Sundays (which is a huge plus!).
While dogs must attend at least one daycare session before boarding, which can be inconvenient, he appreciates the focus on comfort and safety. The only downside? A steep late fee if you pick up your pet after 11:00 am!

“I love sending my doggy here! She has tons of fun running around with all of her friends and comes home to me completely tired out. It really helps with going to work knowing she’s not sitting at home by herself. They are also open Saturdays, which is very convenient. The Second Pup offers two fenced acres of green space—a rare gem in the city! What I love most is the cosy indoor setup, designed to feel like home with furniture and pet beds, helping my dog settle in easily.
They stick to your dog’s routine, which really puts me at ease when we’re apart.
Their UV-powered air system is a huge plus, knowing my dog is breathing clean, odour-free air.
While the rates start at $55 a night (pricer than other kennels on this list), I appreciate that food is included, but they’ll charge an extra $5 per day if they run out.
The rooms are spotless, and the daily schedule keeps dogs active with walks, playtime, grooming, and training. There’s a mandatory daycare session before boarding, which costs a bit extra, but for me, the peace of mind is totally worth it!

One standout perk is their flexibility with early or late check-ins at no extra cost—super convenient! Just note they require a 24-hour notice, so no walk-ins or same-day check-ins are allowed.
At $45 per night, Canine Kingdom is a solid choice for pet parents looking for a safe, active environment where their social dogs will get plenty of playtime and attention.
