We share the deets on their location, pricing, and more!
Combat Archery Edmonton
– From combatarcheryedmonton
Address: 8128 46 St NW
Contact Details: +1 825-436-2427
Operating Hours: Daily – 8 am to 11 pm
Combat Archery isn’t your classic woodland range, but it’s a bullseye for thrill-seekers. Here, you’ll ditch the targets because you’ll be aiming for other players, with foam-tipped arrows, of course.
The rules are straightforward: hit someone and they’re out. But you can’t just go all bows blazing like a maniac; if the target catches your arrows, prepare to walk out of the arena.
Speaking of the arena, it goes full medieval, complete with forts, towers, and bunkers to hide and shoot behind. Plus, it doubles as a Nerf war zone if foam darts are more your style.

The range is all-ages friendly, and if you’re new, Wyld’s staff will hook you up with basic tips. A quick safety rundown will also be given; there’s a slim to none chance of you hitting your toes.
Additionally, the staff matches the bow’s draw weight to your strength, so no over-pulling. Throw in the under-$100 deal for 2 adults and 2 kids, and it’s easy to see why this place draws in archers, new and old.

Sherwood Park Archery Club Outdoor Range
– From coxymoxy
Address: 22380 Township Rd 520, Sherwood Park
Operating Hours: Daily – 24 hours
Sherwood Park Archery Club is a must-experience for every archery enthusiast. For starters, the range is outdoors, which means shoots have that extra dose of fresh air and immersion, with the 3D animal targets not feeling out of place.
Beyond that, they have qualified pros to fine-tune your aim across three formats: traditional, compound, and recurve. And with events like provincial tournaments and junior competitions, you’ll never run out of targets to hit and fun to be had.
For those not in the club, you can still watch the action at scheduled events, but shooting is off-limits—no matter how buddy-buddy you are with a member or two.
Tip: There’s a myriad of rules you have to follow here. Familiarize yourself with these regulations for an experience that won’t involve sentences like “Get out of the park!” |
Nock n Load Combat Archery

When you’d rather stay put but still want to channel your inner Katniss, Nock n Load Combat Archery is the answer. They’re mobile archery pros who can craft your party into an adventure straight out of the Hunger Games—or any theme you desire.
Rest assured that injuries are not part of the party; the arrows are foam-tipped, and you’ll be wearing protective gear. The game’s objectives are also simple to follow—basically, just hit and don’t get hit.
What sets Nock n Load apart, though, is their ability to set up arenas not just indoors but also outdoors. In fact, patrons often take aim in sprawling parks (parks edmonton) filled with trees and obstacles.

Parkland Bowbenders Range
– From parkland_bowbenders
Address: Range Rd 271, Sturgeon County
Contact Details: +1 587-991-1268
The 80-acre Parkland Bowbenders Range might just take the crown as the most picturesque spot on this list. Perched on a serene woodland, it features picnic tables, playground equipment, fire pits, and a clubhouse for a side of relaxation.
Boring old cans and cardboard also don’t have a place here; the targets are 3D, detailed models of animals like wolves, boars, and yes, even a T-Rex. Just remember, “hunting season” is summer only, as the 3.5-mile 3D loop closes in winter
To top it off, rookies can take advantage of a junior program starting in spring. It has lessons hitting all the essentials, including alignment, release, follow-through, and stance—perfect for not embarrassing yourself on the range.
Tip: Head to their Insta for the announcements of upcoming events, like annual competitions and hunting. |
