Elderly clients also appreciate Eager Beaver’s senior moving services, which come with numerous discounts. From our chats, they mostly praised the transparency in quotes and personalized attention given.
On the flip side, the Sunday closure is a hassle. It always leaves us in a bind, especially since Sunday is our only open day.
The unloading process could also be quicker. In our case, it took them some time to get everything offloaded, specifically about an hour more than the estimate.

Their fleet of 5 trucks paired with 25 professional movers is a major perk. Whether the job is big or small, close by or far away, their team does it well. And from what we’ve seen, they’re quite respectful, too.
Moreover, their service range is impressive. While we primarily hired them for residential moves, they can handle commercial relocations and specialized tasks like removing junk, removal (junk removal edmonton), providing storage, and even transporting hefty items like pianos.
However, they don’t move pets—a deal-breaker for most pet owners. The biggest drawback, though, is their history of mishaps, such as losing parts of appliances or furniture.

Their pricing is tough to beat. In our last encounter, they transparently itemized every cost, so the quotes and final bill didn’t have any difference.
When it comes to service offerings, they cover 3 key areas: residential, long-distance, and commercial moves. Each option accommodates heavy equipment and sticks to schedules with minimal issues. The same goes for The Transport Guys’ overnight service; we’ve used it for personal and business items, and everything made it on time.
You must consider their record of damaging and losing items during moves though, along with a few movers who act hastily. Their loading time can also stretch longer than expected, so prepare to stretch your patience.

Beyond that, our interviewees praised the company’s movers, particularly Shaq, for their expertise and warmth. The office staff also received props for providing free estimates and openly discussing options to cut costs.

Their Sunday closure is a real snag, though. On top of that, there have been a few grumbles about damaged items during the moving process. Yes, they take full accountability, but it’s best that this is avoided in the first place.
