The Best Drag Shows in Edmonton Overflowing with Unfiltered Fun and Glam

Edmonton drag shows are larger than life—and this shouldn’t be a surprise. Our shows here have queens who rock glamorous wigs, stiletto-sharp comebacks, and enough glitz to light up the darkest winter nights.

That said, if you’ve never been to one, you’re missing out big time. No worries, though; the unfiltered sass and unapologetically majestic looks are within reach.

Below, we rounded up the top venues that host fiery and side-splitting drag shows.

Contact Details: (780) 452-7333

Operating Hours: Fri to Sat – 9 pm to 2 am

99Ten sparked our drag passion, and now you know who to credit for this list. Specifically, it’s their drag queen bingo night we can’t resist returning to, thanks to quick-witted queens who make the game more interactive and extra dashing.

Quality tribute nights are the second reason we zip over, with the iconic ABBA and Madonna shows topping our list. Even better, it’s fan-favorite drag kings like Tugs and Stretcher Hyman who usually belt out the classics.

Tips:

The closest 24/7 parking spot is at 10009-10045 107 St.

You can book their 126-person venue for private gatherings or product launches.

If the glitzy 1920s decor at Spotlight Cabaret doesn’t sweep you off your feet, their drag queen bingo surely will. With red-carpet-ready looks and zingers that land every time, it’s worth each dollar—even if you flop at the game.

Besides, over-the-top burgers (burgers edmonton) and fancy cocktails make this Wednesday spectacle extra indulgent. Just don’t forget to dress up like a character from The Great Gatsby to match the New York-inspired looks and drama.

Tips:

Make sure to book, especially if rolling with a large crew.

Our last rodeo was at Pride Reunited, which was a wild mix of dancing, drinking, and drag lessons—all in a single day. But we’re not done yet; our team is booked for the podcast-style The King’s Men: Mansplaining with Drag Kings on November 16, 2024!

Historic, grungy, and community-focused, Starlite Room’s drag shows perfectly match its warm and wild identity. Case in point: the Pride Dance Party last June 2024 where we boogied until dawn with drag queens and burlesque (burlesque shows edmonton) performers.

To top it off, they have a once-a-month drag bingo night that always serves 3 things: dazzling visuals, cheeky humor, and $5 highballs. Secret prizes abound, and entry doesn’t cost a dime.

Tips:

You can drive to the venue. There’s a covered structure and open lot directly across from The Starlite Room where you can park.

Bring your government ID.

There’s no strict dress code, but you’re required to wear shoes.

Contact Details: (780) 448-9000

Website

Our team will never shut up about Fringe Theater’s drag shows. Productions like the long-running Fear Fables—a spooky drag twist on short horror tales—are just as gripping as any high-budget play we’ve watched.

Last seen at the Edmonton Fringe Festival, the show artistically combined monsters with glam. The drag queens also brought the house down with intense narrations, all-out performances, and clever twists even M. Night Shyamalan would be proud of.
