This shop uses the highest-grade automotive tint films available on the market right now, which means you’ll be getting nearly 100% UV protection from the sun. It also blocks most of the sun’s heat, which is another plus.
Another thing we like about this shop is that there’s a good array of tint films. Dyed films are perfect if you want a splash of colour on your vehicle; extruded films if you’re the opposite (you don’t want colour); metalized films if you want your car to look classy and luxurious; and nano-ceramic films if you want the most technologically advanced option.

What makes Proform Auto Tint an outstanding provider is that its service is fast and efficient. You book an appointment, and in no time, a professional is already adding tinted films onto your window.
The installation service is also incredibly precise. When my coworker and I returned to get her car, it looked pristine and luxurious. For a second, we actually forgot that her car was an old model!
Another thing worth noting about this shop is that they offer window tinting on all automotive vehicles—not just cars. This includes boats and recreational vehicles! Plus, you can even book a commercial window tinting as well!

TINT BOSS has only been in operation since 2020—during the pandemic lockdown, no less—but it’s already made a reputation in Edmonton. Charlie Nguyen, the founder and owner of the shop, is passionate about window tinting, and you can tell by the way he conducts business.
He and his team work fast. If you call right now to book an appointment, tomorrow, you’ll be able to meet them.
Then, once you’ve chosen what tint to get and how dark you want it to be (you can choose between 5%, 15%, 20%, 30%, 40%, and 50%), you don’t have to wait long to get your car back. Maybe around 30 minutes to an hour if you only need two windows done.
When it comes to variety, you can only find three types: carbon, ceramic CIR, and ceramic evolve. It’s not too varied, which may be a downside for some people, but for me, considering that I can customize my choice, I’m okay with it.
Oh, and before I forget, this shop also offers DIY pre-cut tint templates! This option is perfect if you want to save some money by doing the tint application yourself.
Since the film is already pre-cut for you, it shouldn’t be too much of a hassle to put on. Just prepare your squeegee to get rid of the bubbles.

“Called in to book an appointment, was able to get in the next day. He said it was only going to take an hour, it took 30 minutes to do 2 windows and a bro. I got the carbon tint, with 18% along with a 5% brow. He was very responsive over Messenger, and helpful. Life time warranty too. First Detailing Studio is one of the most commonly recommended shops by the locals, so we decided to give them a try. And now, after one of my team members has her windows done, it’s safe to say that we agree with the locals.
First and foremost, this shop offers a free consultation. This is great because it lets customers, especially those who are still unsure about the process, air out their issues without feeling obligated to commit. Plus, they get to know the possible cost right out of the gate, which is super helpful.
The staff is also incredibly warm and accommodating. They answered all our questions, even the ones that we thought were stupid. And when it was time to apply the tinted films, they were so quick and efficient about it. It didn’t even take the whole afternoon!
Unfortunately, this shop only offers two kinds of tinted films: dyed metal and ceramic. But both options are premium, so you can’t really go wrong with either.
Another thing worth noting about this shop is that it caters to other vehicles as well—not just modern cars. In particular, you can have your trucks, vans, and even retro cars tinted here.

Since this shop has been operational for a long time, you can expect that the people working here are seasoned professionals. Any issues you have, they will provide answers immediately, so you can feel confident that your car will be in good hands.
You’ll also feel like a pampered customer when you have your windows tinted here. Valet service is available; they can drive you to or from the shop when dropping off the vehicle.
And while you’re waiting, you can sit back and relax in the customer lounge and use their high-speed Wi-Fi. You can even treat yourself to bottled water or a hot drink (coffee or hot chocolate). All this for free!
