You’ll really feel the burn at the 7 best hot yoga studios in Edmonton!
I didn’t realise how many different yoga styles there are until I started attending trial classes out of curiosity.
Of all the ones I’ve taken, hot yoga quickly became my favourite. The heated floors and 40°C room create the perfect environment to boost blood circulation, promote relaxation, and help you sweat it out.
If you’re interested in this practice, I found the best hot yoga studios in Edmonton that will make you appreciate it!
Yogalife Studios

Address: 10419 124 St
Contact Details: +1 780 328 3927
Operating Hours: Monday to Sunday, 6:00 am to 12:00 am
Yogalife Studios has been my go-to for over 10 years, and they truly make yoga accessible for everyone. Their hot yoga sessions are super easy to book. Plus a single class costs about $25.
They offer a range of hot yoga options, including Hot Flow for all levels, Warm Flow for deep stretching and alignment, and Hot Yin, a slower-paced class focusing on posture, balance, and improving bone density.
Tips: I highly recommend registering and downloading the studio’s mobile app to access their easy booking system. You’ll get notifications on class schedules and offerings based on your preferences too! The studio doesn’t offer towel rentals, so don’t forget to bring your own (especially for hot yoga). Mat rentals are already included in your membership fee, though, if you get a monthly membership. You can get free 2-hour parking if you register your car’s licence plate at the studio. Just make sure not to park outside of the Westcor Building along the street. |

Om Hot Yoga’s classes come in 10 different styles across all skill levels, so it’s easy to find what class you should attend based on your experience. In my opinion, they are one of the best studios for hot yoga beginners!
The studio offers only hot yoga and has been doing so for over 10 years. Their signature classes include hot Hatha, Yin, and Power Flow, all of which target balance, posture, better bone density, strength, and coordination.
Tips: The yoga studio also operates a spa and wellness centre where you can treat yourself to spa treatments and massages after your class. They specialise in Ayurvedic massages, which is great if you prefer natural and organic oils. Mat and towel rentals start at $2 per item in the studio. Do note that the fees are not included in their drop-in rate valued at $20. If you don’t want to spend extra, I recommend bringing your own equipment! |

One of the things that sets Prana Yoga Studio apart from other studios in the city is its studio facilities. It’s the first studio I’ve visited that has a 6-foot water wall and fireplace to complement the hot yoga experiences.
All hot yoga classes are conducted at 35 to 39 degrees Celsius, so expect to sweat a lot. My personal favourite classes here are the Hot Yoga Core, Hot Hip Opening Flow, Warm Yin, and Hot Yoga Flow.
Tips: Strive to arrive early to your class to avoid any late fees. You won’t be allowed inside the studio once the class starts and you’re not there! Cancel your session at least 3 hours before the start of the class. You’ll be charged a $15 fee to compensate for the slot you forfeited for cancelling beyond the given lead time. If the room is too hot, move next to the waterfall. If it’s not hot enough for you, you can move closer to the fireplace! |

With single classes starting at just $23 and monthly memberships for newcomers at $55, it’s an affordable way to dive into yoga. I highly recommend trying their Metta classes to get a feel for the practice. Plus they offer hot yoga sessions almost daily!
Tips: The studio has two branches in the city, and classes are offered differently per studio. Your passes are interchangeable between the two studios, just make sure to book your classes and time slots appropriately. The studio currently doesn’t provide towel rentals, so don’t forget to bring your own. You can, however, rent yoga mats and buy reusable water bottles. If there’s one yoga studio that will really push you to do your best and hold your poses, it’s Oxygen Yoga and Fitness. Their hot yoga classes are no joke because they blend flexibility and strength training to make sessions a bit more intense.
Despite the focus on fitness and strength, the hot yoga classes are still suitable for beginners. Popular class types include Hot Yoga and Core, Hot Yang Yin Yoga, Hot Candlelight Deep Stretch, Hot FitFlow, and Hot Yoga Freedom Flow.
Tips: Note that this studio has several branches across Canada. Some classes posted on the website may not be available in the branch nearest you, so make sure to double-check your class bookings, studio locations, and timings! The Hot Candlelight Deep Stretch is meant to relax your mind and body. I highly recommend booking this class before booking other more intense classes. This way, you can clear your mind and prepare your body as you progress! |

Lahari Yoga feels more like a serene spa than your typical yoga studio, which is exactly why I recommend it.
