“Honest and credible. I had concerns that my SUVs transmission was slipping. Someone was able to give it a test drive until they were able to identify exactly the thing that was causing my concern as initially it wasn’t obvious what the car was doing that led me to think it was the transmission. Finally, the person was able to identify that it was likely not the transmission but an engine misfire. They didn’t charge me anything for the test drive diagnosticd and were honest that it wasn’t a transmission issue. Companies that are honest when an issue is out of their scope of work always build so much more trust with customers. I would definitely go here if I ever did have a transmission issue with my vehicle.

I was a little annoyed, but the team was quick to find the correct case, but it wouldn’t be at the shop until later. Can West was quick to fix the issue and paid to have the case shipped out to me. I run a body shop, and I understand parts, and how thing can get mixed up and how mistakes can be made. Can-West was quick to apologize and make things right. The customer service is outstanding, and I appreciate that they were true to their word. I received my t-case this morning. Only 4 days from my initial call for the replacement. “Wayne and his team are highly knowledgeable, honest, and great guys to deal with. I bought a transfer case for my ’06 Sierra. I am approximately 500 kms away from their shop and they shipped my transfer case in a timely manner. I even had a small problem and they resolved it immediately. They were also fair when issuing my core credit.

“This company carefully diagnoses all the possible contribution factors of your transmission problems, stays in contact with the customers, and is upfront with estimated costs.
I was told by another shop that “ it was something inside”, and I’d likely be looking at a replacement transmission. The car sat in their yard for 2 months.
A friend recommended Alberta Transmission Service for a 2nd diagnosis. They checked all the related wiring and found and fixed the problem. About $400.
I highly recommend this business both for their professional and also personable service.
